We have developed an outdoor photography style that highlights unique individuals and families while in stunning locations. We like to keep everything relaxed and fun while photographing so we can capture people at their best. Priding ourselves in being able to keep up with most outdoor recreation while carrying camera gear, we like to get out and capture beautiful memories in beautiful places.
49 Photography is the creation of Jonathan Gurry. Shooting professionally since 2002, he was first introduced to the camera by his grandfather at an early age. Raised in Seattle, Jonathan moved to Utah for college. While there, he became heavily involved in the ski industry as a photographer and athlete. He was regularly published and appeared in front of the camera in Powder Magazine, Telemark Skier Magazine, and a number of ski movies produced by Telemark Skier and Tough Guy Productions. In 2009, Jonathan moved his family to Alaska. There, he would focus on outdoor and enviromental portrait photography.
